A 7 ft orange shielded Cat6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors, tested to ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 component requirements for high-speed network links
This shielded Category 6 patch cable uses RJ45 connectors on both ends and runs 7 ft (2.13 m) in an orange jacket. The STP construction protects high-speed signals from noise and electromagnetic interference. It is tested to ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 component requirements for reliable voice, data and video distribution.
The snagless boots prevent the locking tabs from catching on adjacent cables, making this cable suited to patch panels, switches and routers where space is tight. Builders who need unshielded UTP cable or a different length for a specific run should look elsewhere.
At exactly 7 feet, this cable fits short rack-to-device or wall-plate-to-device links without excess slack. If the connection requires a longer or shorter run, this specific length will not work.

Yes, both ends are terminated with RJ45 connectors that plug into any standard Ethernet port on switches, routers, network adapters or HDBaseT equipment.
Push the connector straight in until you hear a click; the snagless boot covers the latch tab, so pull the boot back slightly before depressing the tab to unplug without damaging the cable.
Inspect the cable and connectors during any rack changes or if intermittent errors appear; replace it if the jacket shows cuts, the boot is torn, or the latch no longer clicks securely.
