25 ft Cat 6 Patch Cable

This 25-foot Category 6 patch cable connects network devices with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. Gold-plated contacts help maintain signal integrity over the full length. The blue jacket allows quick visual identification in dense cable runs. It suits home offices, small businesses or any installation needing a standard gigabit link.

Plenum-Rated For In-Wall Routing

The cable uses plenum-rated construction, so it can be routed through air-handling spaces above dropped ceilings or under raised floors without violating building codes. Installation is a simple push-to-click on each RJ-45 jack; no tools or termination are required. The main risk is exceeding the recommended bend radius inside tight conduit, which can degrade high-frequency performance.

Verify Port Type And Run Length

Before ordering, confirm that both endpoints use standard RJ-45 ports and that a single 25-foot run reaches between them without splices. Check that the pathway is rated for plenum cable if the cable will pass through return-air spaces. Ensure the equipment supports at least Cat 5e speeds to benefit from the 550 MHz bandwidth rating.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 25 ft Cat 6 cable is performing to 550 MHz after installation?

Use a qualified cable certifier to test each run against the TIA 568-C.2 limits for Cat 6; the tester will verify bandwidth, impedance and near-end crosstalk at 550 MHz.

What connectors and cable are included with the 15285 and what must I source separately?

The box contains the 25 ft blue plenum-rated patch cable with gold-plated RJ-45 male connectors on both ends; wall plates, keystone jacks and patch-panel hardware are not included.

Which colour and length of this plenum Cat 6 cable should I choose for a 25 ft run in a dropped-ceiling installation?

Select the blue 25 ft version — it matches the required plenum rating, colour-coding scheme and exact length for that run.
