It uses 4-pair 24 AWG stranded STP conductors and RJ45 connectors on both ends to link adapters, switches, routers, modems and patch panels. The blue jacket allows quick colour-coding in structured cabling jobs. It is supplied new and UL verified to meet Cat 5e TIA/EIA standards.
