Cameron & Co DS-CS-ATD200MB Ni-MH Battery

This 2.4V 700mAh Nickel-Metal Hydride battery serves as a direct replacement for the Alecto DBX-20 AA850 P002000 BabyPhone. It is intended for owners of that specific baby monitor who need a fresh power source. It is not for users whose devices require a different voltage, connector or chemistry.

Compatible Replacement for Alecto Models

The battery matches the original AA850 and P002000 part numbers and fits the DBX-20 unit without modification. The blue casing and 45.00 x 21.20 x 10.70 mm form factor align with the OEM design so the battery compartment closes normally. No extra cables, adapters or software are included in the package.

Ni-MH Chemistry and Fixed Capacity Limits

The 1.68Wh Ni-MH cell delivers a set 700mAh capacity at 2.4V and cannot be upgraded to a higher rating. Self-discharge occurs over long storage periods so the monitor should be recharged before critical use. The pack lacks a built-in charge controller and relies on the BabyPhone's own charging circuit.

Questions about this item

How long will the 700mAh Ni-MH pack last before it needs replacing?

Expect roughly two to three years of daily charge cycles before capacity drops below useful levels, at which point the 2.4V battery should be swapped.

What limits runtime when the monitor stays on continuously?

The 1.68Wh capacity sets the hard ceiling; once the 700mAh charge is depleted the unit must be recharged.

Does the battery get warm or draw extra power during all-day use?

Ni-MH chemistry stays cool at the low currents a baby monitor draws, and the pack adds no noticeable heat.
