Purpose-built power for security sirens

This 3.6 V 16000 mAh lithium-thionyl chloride pack replaces the original cell in FANSO MCS-720B and MCS-740 sirens, TYCO Burg Siren PG9901 and compatible Visonic and DSC wireless indoor models. It is a primary, non-rechargeable unit designed for long-term standby in life-safety devices.

Twin-cell construction with direct-fit dimensions

Two black cells measuring 51.00 x 37.00 x 21.50 mm each slide into the existing battery compartment without adapters or wiring changes. The OEM-compatible layout matches the original 2XER18505M and 103-304742 part numbers, so installers can swap the pack during routine maintenance without tools.

Primary chemistry imposes single-use replacement

Li-SOCl2 delivers high energy density and a wide temperature range but cannot be recharged; once depleted the entire pack must be replaced. The 57.60 Wh capacity supports extended supervisory periods, yet the chemistry rules out any solar or mains trickle-charge scheme, so budgeting for periodic swap-outs is essential.
