This Camius surveillance kit combines a 16-channel 4K network video recorder with eight 2K IP cameras for residential or small-business security. The NVR records up to 8-megapixel footage at 30 frames per second using H.265 compression and ships with a 4 TB hard drive installed. It supports continuous or motion-triggered recording and offers remote viewing on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices.

Thermals noise and power draw

The NVR integrates sixteen PoE ports that power the cameras over the same Ethernet cables used for data, removing the need for separate power supplies or an external network switch. This single-cable design reduces cable count and associated heat sources around the recorder. The unit runs silently in typical indoor installations with no moving parts beyond the internal hard drive.

Dual HDMI output and smart detection

Two HDMI ports allow simultaneous 4K output on a primary monitor and 1080p on a secondary display, while a VGA port provides a third viewing option. Built-in AI detects pedestrians and vehicles to filter alerts, and each camera includes a microphone for synchronised audio recording. Footage can be backed up via USB or uploaded to Dropbox and Google Drive.
