Genuine Black Cartridge for imageCLASS Printers

The Canon 1242C001 is a new black ink cartridge designed for the Color imageCLASS LBP612Cdw, MF632Cdw and MF634Cdw. It delivers an approximate yield of 1400 pages for home offices and small businesses that need consistent monochrome output. Installation is straightforward and the formulation helps protect the print head during regular use.

Replaces Empty Original Cartridges

This cartridge replaces a depleted genuine black unit in the compatible imageCLASS models listed above. The jump is worth it when print quality fades or the printer signals low ink, restoring sharp text and stable performance without the variability of third-party refills. It is not suited for users who require high-capacity tanks or colour ink replacements.

Fits Directly into Compatible imageCLASS Devices

The cartridge slots into the designated black bay of the LBP612Cdw, MF632Cdw or MF634Cdw with no additional hardware or firmware steps. Its ink-saving design reduces waste and helps maintain nozzle health, freeing the user from frequent maintenance cycles. Buyers needing colour cartridges or higher page yields must source separate items.
