Genuine Canon PFI-106 Photo Magenta cartridge

This genuine Canon ink cartridge supplies 130 ml of Photo Magenta LUCIA pigment ink for compatible imagePROGRAF large-format printers. It is intended for photographers and graphic professionals who require accurate colour reproduction and long-lasting prints on a variety of media.

Pigment formulation resists clogging and smudging

The LUCIA pigment ink is developed to work in synergy with Canon print heads, helping to prevent nozzle clogging and smudging during operation. This formulation supports consistent output quality and helps maintain the printer in optimal condition over extended use.

Single 130 ml tank replaces one colour channel

The package contains one individual Photo Magenta tank, allowing users to replace only the depleted colour rather than a combined cartridge. This design reduces waste and ongoing cost for high-volume colour workflows on supported models including the iPF6300, iPF6350, iPF6400 and iPF6450 series.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PFI-106 cartridge in my iPF6400 and what step is often missed?

Open the ink tank cover, shake the new 130 ml tank gently, remove the orange cap, insert it into the Photo Magenta slot until it clicks, then close the cover; the step often missed is shaking the tank before insertion to distribute pigment evenly.

What maintenance will the PFI-106 require after months of use in an iPF6300S?

The printer will prompt a head cleaning cycle when nozzles clog; run the automatic cleaning from the control panel and replace the tank once the 130 ml supply reads empty to maintain LUCIA pigment flow.

What limit appears first during continuous printing on an iPF6450 with this cartridge?

The 130 ml ink volume is the first limit; extended runs will exhaust the Photo Magenta supply before any other consumable requires attention.
