Genuine Canon Photo Gray Ink Cartridge

The Canon PFI-106 Photo Gray ink cartridge supplies 130 ml of pigment ink for compatible imagePROGRAF printers. It is intended for photographers and print professionals who require accurate grayscale reproduction on supported large-format devices.

LUCIA pigment formulation for archival output

LUCIA inks provide a wide colour gamut and enhanced print longevity across compatible media. The pigment chemistry delivers water-resistant and fade-resistant grayscale prints without clogging the print head during normal operation.

Single-tank design simplifies colour management

Each cartridge contains only Photo Gray ink, allowing individual replacement when depleted. This reduces waste and cost for users who print predominantly in monochrome or neutral tones on supported models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 130ml PFI-106 Photo Gray cartridge in my iPF6300 and what step is often missed?

Open the printer's ink tank cover, shake the new cartridge gently, remove the orange cap, insert it straight into the Photo Gray slot until it clicks, then close the cover; the step often missed is shaking the cartridge before installation to distribute pigment evenly.

What maintenance will the PFI-106 Photo Gray cartridge need during its life in an iPF6400?

The cartridge itself requires no maintenance; the printer will run automatic head cleaning cycles using ink from this tank, and you should replace the cartridge when the printer signals low ink or after the 130ml is consumed.

What limit appears first during continuous grayscale printing on an iPF6350 with this 130ml tank?

The 130ml ink volume is the first limit; sustained high-coverage grayscale printing will deplete the tank before any other component reaches its service interval.
