Carol C6351A.41.10 Unshielded Communication Cable

This 1000 ft reel of Carol C6351A.41.10 cable is an unshielded communication wire built for commercial installations. It suits installers running audio, control or low-voltage signalling circuits where shielding is not required. The grey PVC jacket identifies the cable in crowded pathways. It arrives new on a reel-in-a-box for easy pulling.

20 AWG Stranded Pair with 300 V Rating

Two stranded 20 AWG conductors with PVC insulation provide flexibility for tight bends and terminate cleanly on screw terminals or punch-down blocks. The 300 V maximum voltage rating and NEC 800 CM fire listing cover typical commercial communications and control voltages. The 0.2 in outside diameter fits standard raceways and cable trays. Unshielded construction means it is not suited for environments with strong electromagnetic interference.

Reel-in-a-Box Format for Commercial Pulls

Supplied on a reel in a box, the 1000 ft length reduces splice points on long corridor or campus runs. The grey PVC jacket resists abrasion during installation and meets commercial fire ratings. No shielding drain wire is present, so grounding hardware is not needed. Installers must verify local code acceptance for unshielded CM cable in their specific application.

Questions about this item

Will the 20 AWG stranded conductors work with the 20 AWG wiring I already have in the wall?

Yes, both use 20 AWG gauge, so they share the same conductor diameter for standard connections.

How can I verify the cable meets the 300 V rating and NEC 800 CM listing after installation?

Check the jacket printing for the voltage rating and NEC article type marked along the gray PVC jacket.

Does the reel-in-a-box package include connectors or tools, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains only the 1000 ft cable on a reel; connectors and termination tools are sold separately.
