Industrial Utility Blower

The Caterpillar CF-B300-YW is a 300 CFM utility blower built for workshops, garages, gyms and offices. A 1/20 HP motor drives four speed settings to match airflow to the task. Two integrated grounded outlets let you power other tools from the unit. A built-in circuit breaker with reset button protects against electrical surges.

Suited For And Not Suited For

This blower suits users who need movable, high-velocity air for drying, cooling or ventilation in indoor spaces. The multi-pivoting design directs flow precisely where required. Buyers needing higher CFM output or permanent ceiling mounting should consider other equipment. It is not designed for hazardous-location use.

Deciding Specification

The 300 CFM air delivery at 65 dBA noise level determines whether this blower meets your airflow and sound requirements. Power draw is 120 W from a 120 V 60 Hz supply. Four adjustable positions and dual outlets support versatile placement. Verify that this CFM rating matches the space you need to service.

Questions about this item

Does the blower need a standard 120 V household outlet to run?

Yes, it operates on 120 V, 60 Hz and plugs into a normal three-prong grounded socket.

Can the two 3-prong grounded outlets on the unit power older tools that lack GFCI protection?

The built-in outlets provide standard grounded power; they do not add GFCI protection to devices plugged into them.

How do I confirm the motor is running at full 300 CFM after setting the speed dial to 4?

At the highest speed the unit moves 300 cubic feet per minute and produces 65 dBA of noise, which is the rated maximum airflow.
