18-Inch Industrial Drum Fan

The Caterpillar CF-HVD-18AC-YW is an 18-inch high-velocity drum fan built for industrial cooling. It moves up to 3,400 CFM through a patented grille design that pushes air three times farther than traditional fans. A permanently lubricated dual ball bearing motor drives the aluminum die-cast blade at four selectable speeds.

Worksites Needing Directed High-Velocity Air

This unit suits factories, warehouses and job sites that require focused airflow over long distances up to 75 feet. The 360-degree pivoting head and adjustable tilt cage allow precise directional control. Buyers needing silent operation for office or bedroom environments should consider quieter alternatives.

Floor Stand or Wall Mount With 6.5-Foot Cord

The fan ships with a sturdy tilt stand fitted with rubber floor guards and hardware for optional wall or ceiling mounting. It operates on standard 120V 60Hz power and includes a 6.5-foot cord for placement flexibility. The compact 25.5-inch height and 12-inch depth fit tight aisles while the metal housing withstands heavy daily use.

Questions about this item

Does the fan need a specific outlet type for its 120V power supply?

It runs on a standard 120V / 60Hz household or job-site outlet; the 6.5 ft cord reaches most sockets without an extension.

Will the 360° adjustable drum head clear a low ceiling if I keep my existing wall bracket?

The drum head pivots a full 360° and the unit stands 25.5" tall, so measure your bracket height to ensure the cage can rotate freely.

How can I confirm the motor is delivering the rated 3400 CFM after assembly?

Set the rotary switch to the highest of the four speeds; you should feel strong vortex-shaped airflow reaching up to 75 ft from the grille.
