Questions about this item

What is the maximum load this Universal Mounting Plate can carry on a CGEM or CGE Pro mount?

The plate is designed to hold telescopes, rings, spotting scopes and cameras securely; the mount’s own payload rating remains the limiting factor.

Does the plate generate any heat or noise during long imaging sessions?

It is a passive aluminium component with no moving parts, so it produces no noise or heat of its own.

What mounting hardware must I already have to attach this plate to my CGEM or CGE Pro?

The plate bolts directly to the mount’s standard dovetail saddle; you only need the bolts supplied with your mount.
