Chopmate Lightning Cable 3ft 5Pack MFi Certified Nylon Braided

Five-pack Lightning cables for Apple devices

This pack contains five Lightning to USB cables, each 3 ft long and MFi certified for use with iPhone models from the 5s through the 14 Pro Max as well as iPad Air. The cables use a high-purity copper core and an authorisation chip to deliver up to 2.4 A charging current and 480 Mbps data transfer. Nylon braiding and reinforced joints are rated for more than 12 000 bend cycles.

Plug in and charge with no driver setup

Connect the USB-A end to a charger or computer and the Lightning plug to the device; charging and syncing begin immediately. The MFi chip handles device handshake automatically, so there is no configuration step. The only common issue is using a power source that cannot supply the 2.4 A the cable is rated for, which results in slower charging.

Limited to USB 2.0 speeds

The interface tops out at 480 Mbps, so large photo or video libraries transfer more slowly than on USB 3 or USB-C connections. The Lightning connector works only with Apple devices that have a Lightning port; it cannot charge USB-C iPads, Android phones or accessories that require a different plug.
