Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E indoor access point with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, five RJ-45 ports, PoE and Bluetooth 5 for hospitality and remote offices
The HPE S0B65A 605HR is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6E access point built for indoor environments such as hotels, residence halls and small branches. It delivers high-density connectivity for hundreds of simultaneous guest, student and IoT devices. Integrated Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radios add flexible options for location services and building automation.
Wi-Fi 6E opens the 6 GHz spectrum, providing wider channels that more than double wireless capacity compared with earlier standards. This extra spectrum handles bandwidth-hungry video and growing cloud workloads without contention. The 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz radios remain active for legacy clients, while the new band serves modern devices that support 802.11ax.
A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink and four additional Gigabit ports keep the wired path from becoming a bottleneck when many users are active. PoE support simplifies deployment by powering the unit over the same cable. Seamless roaming across multiple APs maintains consistent throughput as clients move through the venue, preventing the performance dips that occur when a single radio is overwhelmed.

That 3.60 Gbit/s is the combined theoretical maximum across the 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios; real-world throughput will be lower due to overhead, client mix and interference.
The 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink limits wired backhaul to 2.5 Gbit/s, so aggregate wireless traffic cannot exceed that pipe even if the radios negotiate higher rates.
The compact indoor unit is designed for wall or ceiling mounting in hospitality rooms; it fits standard low-voltage brackets and requires only a single PoE cable for power and data.
