Controls two computers with one keyboard, mouse and dual monitors at up to 4K 60 Hz via HDMI and DisplayPort
The CKLau switch lets one keyboard, mouse and two displays control two PCs or laptops that each provide an HDMI and a DisplayPort output. It suits home-office workers, designers, editors and gamers who need extended or mirrored desktops across both screens without duplicating peripherals.
The unit conforms to HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, so the highest supported modes are 4096x2160 at 60 Hz, 3840x2160 at 60 Hz, 2560x1440 at 144 Hz and 1920x1080 at 144 Hz. HDCP 2.2 and automatic EDID handling are included, but any resolution above those figures or any refresh rate beyond 144 Hz at 1440p is outside the specification.
Each computer must supply both an HDMI and a DisplayPort signal; the required HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort cables are included. If a system only offers DVI, VGA or USB-C video you will need a separately powered adapter, and chaining adapters on both the computer and monitor side of the same link can cause signal loss.

Each computer must connect to both the HDMI A and DP B ports on the switch using the included cables, so you use both interfaces simultaneously for dual-monitor output.
The switch conforms to HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 standards, delivering up to 4096x2160@60Hz or 3840x2160@60Hz, plus 2560x1440@144Hz and 1920x1080@144Hz with HDCP 2.2 and auto EDID.
HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 together limit output to 4K at 60 Hz or 1440p at 144 Hz, and any adapter used may further restrict the achievable resolution.
