4-Computer Dual-Monitor KVM

The ESTONE SW242-2HD lets four computers share two HDMI monitors and a single keyboard-and-mouse set. Each computer must provide two HDMI outputs to fill both display ports. It is aimed at multi-system workstations, test benches or streaming setups that need simultaneous visibility across two screens.

Copy and Extend Modes with USB 3.0 Hub

The switch duplicates the same image on both monitors or extends the desktop across them, changing how the two displays behave. Four integrated USB 3.0 ports share peripherals such as printers or storage drives across all connected PCs at up to 5 Gbps. A remote control and front-panel buttons give two ways to change the active computer.

Desktop Metal Enclosure with External Power

The compact metal chassis measures 5.43 by 5.35 by 1.46 inches and weighs 9.52 ounces, sitting unobtrusively on a desk. A 12 V 1 A adapter supplies stable power for the HDMI 2.0 circuitry and USB hub. Cables included in the box cover all four computer connections, so the unit is ready to install immediately.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 V 1 A power adapter need to be replaced after long use?

The external 12 V 1 A adapter is the only power source; if it fails you replace the adapter, not the switch itself.

What limits 4K 60 Hz output when running all day?

Each computer must have two HDMI 2.0 ports and the cables and monitors must also support 4K 60 Hz, otherwise the link drops to a lower mode.

How hot or noisy does the unit get with continuous operation?

The compact 5.43 x 5.35 x 1.46 inch fanless chassis runs silently; warmth stays low because it only draws 12 V 1 A.
