Captures 1080p 60fps HDMI video from consoles or cameras to Windows, Mac, Linux or Android with ultra-low latency and driver-free UVC operation
The ClonerAlliance Flint LXT CA-1080FLT is a pocket-sized HDMI video capture device that records uncompressed 1080p 60fps footage from consoles, camcorders or DSLRs to Windows, Mac, Linux or Android hosts. It draws power over USB 3.0, requires no driver installation and weighs roughly the same as five US quarter coins.
The hardware accepts 4K input but encodes at a maximum of 1080p 60fps using software encoding on the host, so the connected computer must shoulder the compression workload. Supported legacy video systems are NTSC at 30fps 720 x 480 and PAL at 25fps 720 x 576, and audio is captured as PCM only. Single-pass recording means you cannot simultaneously stream at one bitrate and archive at another without running two capture instances.
Plug the HDMI source into the input, connect the USB 3.0 cable to the host, and the device appears as a standard UVC webcam in OBS, XSplit, VLC or Premiere Pro with no driver step. Problems usually arise when the host USB port cannot supply enough current for 1080p 60fps, causing dropped frames, or when HDCP-protected signals from a console block the video path entirely. Multiple units can be attached for picture-in-picture layouts, but each additional device increases the host CPU load proportionally.

This device captures 1080p at 60fps. It accepts a 4K input signal but downscales it to 1080p for recording or streaming. Choose a 4K capture model only if you need to record or stream at 4K resolution.
You can record or stream gameplay from consoles like PS4, Xbox One or Switch at full 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. The ultra-low latency lets you monitor the feed in OBS or XSplit with minimal delay.
The USB 3.0 interface provides enough bandwidth for uncompressed 1080p 60fps video. It does not cap the resolution or frame rate listed; the device's own encoder handles the 1080p 60fps output.
