Ideal for tight-space networking

This two-metre Cat 8 patch cable delivers 40 Gbps throughput and 2000 Hz bandwidth for gaming consoles, smart TVs, printers and routers. Flat white construction lets it slide under carpets, through doorways and along ceilings without snagging. Fifty-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion and maintain clean signal integrity.

Replaces older Cat 5, 5e, 6, 6a or 7 runs

Upgrade when existing cables limit multi-gigabit internet plans or local NAS transfers. The jump is worth it if current wiring cannot sustain 40 Gbps or if tighter bends are needed in retrofit routes. Backward compatibility keeps legacy ports working while the new cable handles higher frequencies.

Tool-free plug-and-play installation

Snap each RJ45 end into any standard Ethernet jack; no crimping or punch-down required. Flat profile reduces kinking but can snag on sharp carpet tack strips if pulled too hard. Ensure the latch clicks fully — partial seating is the most common cause of intermittent link drops.

Questions about this item

What size RJ45 port does the cable need on my device?

The cable uses standard RJ45 connectors that fit any Gigabit or faster Ethernet port on routers, switches, PCs or consoles.

How do I avoid damaging the flat cable when running it under a carpet?

Lay the cable flat without sharp bends, press the connectors in until they click, and avoid stapling directly over the thin jacket.

Will the gold-plated contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

The 50u gold plating resists corrosion so the contacts do not require cleaning or replacement under normal indoor use.
