CMPLE 3-Gang Recessed Low Voltage Wall Plate Lite Almond

Three-Gang Recessed Wall Plate

The CMPLE 3-Gang Recessed Low Voltage Wall Plate in Lite Almond provides a finished appearance for low-voltage cable pass-through installations. It accommodates multiple cable lines behind flat-panel displays or audio equipment, allowing mixed cable types through a single plate. This eliminates the clutter of multiple wall plates spread across the surface. It suits home theatre and AV setups needing a clean, flush-mount solution.

Face Opening Dimensions

The plate features a face opening measuring 4 11/16 inches wide by 1 15/16 inches high. This specific aperture size determines the maximum bundle diameter that can pass through the wall cavity. Installers must verify that the combined cable bundle fits within these exact dimensions before committing to the wall cut-out. No connector larger than the opening height will pass without modification.

Installation Notes

Installation requires cutting a rectangular opening in the drywall to match the plate's face dimensions. The recessed design sits flush with the wall surface once mounted. Common issues include underestimating the required cavity depth for stiff cables or bending radius, and misaligning the cut-out so the plate does not sit flat. Ensure cables are terminated before pulling them through the opening.
