  • Product typeRJ-45 Connector
  • Overall length5 ft (1.52 m)
  • Product colorGreen
  • Two cables in one pack for spare or dual runs
  • 350 MHz bandwidth supports up to 1 Gigabit speeds
  • Gold-plated RJ45 contacts reduce signal loss
  • Flexible PVC jacket protects twisted-pair wiring
  • Works with PCs, routers, consoles and PoE devices

Two-Pack Cat5e Patch Cords

This two-pack supplies five-foot Cat5e patch cords with RJ45 plugs on both ends. The green PVC jacket covers copper-clad aluminium conductors wired to the 568B standard. They suit home or office networks that need a spare or a second run.

Cat5e Speed and Distance Limits

The Cat5e rating supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T up to 100 metres. At five feet these cords stay well within the channel limit, so the 350 MHz bandwidth and 1 Gigabit throughput are maintained without signal degradation.

Copper-Clad Aluminium Conductors

The wires use copper-clad aluminium rather than solid copper, which keeps the cables flexible and cost-effective. Installations that require pure copper for PoE loads or strict TIA compliance should select a different cable type.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the two-pack or look for a single cable instead?

The listing is sold only as a two-pack of 5 ft green cables, so you receive two identical cords in one purchase.

Will the 1 Gigabit rating actually give me 1000 Mbps on my home router?

The cable supports up to 1000 Mbps, but real throughput depends on your router, network cards and any switches in the path.

What does the 350 MHz figure mean for my connection?

The 350 MHz bandwidth rating is the cable’s certified frequency limit; it allows the 1000BASE-T signal to run at full spec over the 5 ft length.
