Space-Saving Vertical Rack

The CNAweb 1U folding rack mounts to a wall or desk, holding 19-inch equipment in a vertical plane. Its compact profile suits small offices, home labs or retrofit projects where floor space is unavailable.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Solid steel construction meets EIA-310 standards, so the frame keeps its shape under continuous equipment weight. The 16-inch centre mounting holes transfer load directly into wall studs, preventing flex during long-term operation.

Build Quality and Connectors

Eight cage screws and nuts are included for securing devices to the tapped rails. The foldable hinge lets the rack lie flat against the surface when empty, simplifying cable routing and future hardware changes.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 1U folding rack generate when equipment runs all day?

The rack itself produces no heat; it is a passive steel frame that relies on the installed devices for thermal output.

What mounting hardware must I already have to secure this rack to the wall?

You need fixings suited to your wall type for the 16-inch on-centre mounting holes; the package only supplies cage screws and nuts for 19-inch equipment rails.

Will my older 19-inch patch panels and switches fit the EIA-310 rails on this rack?

Yes, the solid steel frame meets EIA-310 19-inch standards, so legacy 19-inch gear mounts directly using the included cage screws and nuts.
