Portable CD player with FM radio and MP3 playback

The Coby CD201 is a compact personal disc player that handles standard CDs, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs while also tuning FM stations. It targets listeners who want a single device for physical media and broadcast radio without relying on streaming services or smartphones.

60-second anti-skip buffer for steady playback

A 60-second memory buffer keeps music continuous during movement such as car travel or walking. The mechanism reads ahead and stores audio so that bumps or vibration do not interrupt the track, making it reliable for mobile use rather than only stationary listening.

Dual power from USB or two AA batteries

The unit runs from a USB connection or two AA cells, providing roughly 12 hours of playtime on batteries. A 3.5 mm headphone jack accepts the included foldable headphones or any standard wired set, and the player weighs 5.9 ounces in a black chassis measuring 3.15 by 7.48 by 7.48 inches.
