Questions about this item

Will the laser pickup or belt need replacement after heavy CD-RW use?

The top-loading mechanism has no user-serviceable parts; Magnavox does not publish a replacement schedule for the pickup or belt.

What limits continuous playback time on mains power?

The 0.8 W per channel amplifier and CD motor draw steady AC power, so mains operation runs indefinitely until you switch it off.

How warm does the AC adapter get when the boombox plays all day?

The wall-wart adapter warms slightly during extended use but stays within normal limits for a compact power supply.
