23-inch LCD privacy filter

The Compucessory 20516 is a frameless privacy screen filter built for 23-inch LCD monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses microlouver technology to restrict the viewing angle so that on-screen content is visible only to someone sitting directly in front of the display.

Upgrade from basic screen protection

This filter replaces a standard anti-glare protector or bare glass by adding hardware-enforced privacy and surface defence in one layer. The jump is worth it when visual confidentiality matters more than wide-angle visibility, such as in open-plan offices, reception areas or shared workstations.

Frameless overlay for wide-screen monitors

The filter sits flush on the LCD surface for a built-in appearance and includes a microfiber cleaning cloth for maintenance. It requires a compatible 23-inch wide-screen monitor and suits users who can work within a narrow viewing cone; it does not suit collaborative setups where multiple people need to read the screen simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Does the frameless filter sit flush on a 23-inch LCD bezel without brackets?

Yes, the frameless design overlays the LCD surface directly for a built-in look on 23-inch wide-screen monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Which attachment method avoids air bubbles during installation?

The filter uses a frameless overlay that rests on the screen; pressing from the centre outward removes trapped air before the micro-louvers settle.

Can the anti-glare coating be cleaned with standard monitor sprays?

Use the included microfiber cloth with water or a mild electronics cleaner; harsh chemicals can degrade the anti-glare and privacy layers.
