24" LCD privacy filter

The Compucessory 29291 is a privacy screen filter built for 24-inch LCD monitors. It uses optical-quality acrylic with an antireflective coating to limit viewing angles and cut glare. The panel ships with a microfiber cleaning cloth for installation and upkeep. It fits both 16:10 and 16:9 aspect-ratio screens.

Users needing on-screen confidentiality

Professionals handling private data in open offices, healthcare or shared workspaces benefit from the narrowed viewing cone. Buyers with curved displays, touchscreens or non-LCD panel types should look at a different solution. The filter is sized only for flat 24-inch widescreen LCD monitors.

24-inch diagonal fit

This filter is made for monitors measuring 24 inches diagonally. Confirm your screen’s exact diagonal and aspect ratio before ordering. The package includes tabs for semi-permanent mounting and removable adhesive strips for temporary use.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 24" acrylic filter to my LCD monitor, and which step do people skip?

Align the filter to your 16:9 or 16:10 screen, then press the adhesive tabs firmly along the top edge; the step most users miss is cleaning the glass with the supplied microfiber cloth first so the tabs bond securely.

What upkeep will the 29291 filter need over time?

Wipe the anti-glare acrylic surface with the included microfiber cloth whenever dust or fingerprints appear; avoid liquid cleaners, which can degrade the anti-reflective coating and reduce privacy performance.

What limit appears first when the filter stays on a monitor under constant office lighting?

The anti-reflective coating gradually loses effectiveness under continuous bright light, so glare reduction and viewing-angle privacy diminish before the acrylic itself shows wear.
