Purpose-built access terminal

The ZKTECO F19 is a biometric fingerprint reader designed for access control and time-attendance applications. It suits small to medium offices that need a self-contained terminal with a colour display for on-device operation. The unit can run standalone or connect to third-party panels via standard Wiegand signalling.

Capacity and headroom

Stores 3,000 fingerprint templates and 10,000 card records with a log buffer of 100,000 transactions. Recognition completes in roughly one second per touch. The 2.4-inch TFT LCD shows fingerprint images to guide placement and improve match rates. Database limits mean larger workforces will require multiple terminals or a centralised server.

Build and daily connectivity

Housed in a tamper-resistant enclosure with a built-in tamper switch and alarm outputs for dismantlement, forced-entry and door-ajar events. Communication options include TCP/IP, RS232 and RS485 for flexible network integration. Relay contacts drive electric locks, door sensors and exit buttons directly. The ZKFinger V10.0 algorithm runs on industrial-grade components with a watchdog timer to prevent hangs.
