What this extender does

The Computar Ganz EX1.5CS is a 1.5x focal-length extender designed for CS-mount CCTV lenses. It mounts between the lens and the camera body, increasing the effective focal length by 1.5 times without changing the lens itself. The accessory is manufactured in Japan and carries a three-year manufacturer warranty. It suits installers who need a narrower field of view from an existing CS-mount lens.

Check your mount and clearance

Before ordering, confirm that both the camera and the lens use the CS-mount standard; the extender will not fit C-mount hardware without a separate adapter. Verify that the combined length of lens, extender and camera fits inside your housing or bracket. Ensure the lens iris and focus rings remain accessible after the extender is inserted.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need a CS-mount lens and camera separately?

The package contains the EX1.5CS extender only; a CS-mount lens and compatible camera must be supplied separately.

When should I choose the 1.5x extender instead of a different magnification?

Select the 1.5x model when you need to increase the focal length of your CS-mount lens by exactly one and a half times.
