Kit contents and intended use

This kit pairs a Computar Ganz colour day/night camera rated at 540 TVL with a 2.8-12 mm auto-iris varifocal lens and a 4-inch mounting bracket. The package is aimed at installers who need a ready-to-deploy analogue CCTV solution for indoor or sheltered outdoor positions. Made in Japan and covered by a three-year manufacturer warranty, it suits projects that require a single, pre-matched camera and lens assembly.

Upgrade path and limitations

The set replaces a fixed-lens analogue camera when adjustable focal length and automatic iris control are required for changing light conditions. The jump is worth it when the scene demands a variable field of view between wide-angle and narrow telephoto settings. It is not suited for installations that need higher horizontal resolution, IP networking, motorised pan-tilt-zoom or multiple cameras from one kit.
