Varifocal CS-mount lens covers 5-50 mm at f1.3-16 for 1/3" sensors, with manual iris, zoom and focus plus .8 m minimum focus
The Computar Ganz T10Z0513CS is a varifocal CCTV lens built for CS-mount cameras using 1/3" format sensors. It provides a focal length range of 5-50mm with a manual iris adjustable from f/1.3 to 16C. This design allows installers to adjust the field of view on-site without moving the camera body. It suits surveillance setups needing flexible coverage from a single fixed mounting point.
The 5-50mm range lets you shift between wide and narrow angles, but the minimum focus distance is fixed at 0.8 m, limiting extreme close-up detail. Manual zoom and focus rings require physical access to the lens for every adjustment, which is impractical for remote or hard-to-reach installations. The manual iris cannot react to sudden lighting changes, so exposure must be set for the prevailing condition. Buyers needing motorised remote control or auto-iris response cannot use this lens.
This lens only fits cameras with a CS-mount thread and a 1/3" sensor format; it will not mount on C-mount bodies without an adapter and will vignette on larger sensors. The all-glass optics and metal barrel with locking setscrews secure the chosen focal length against vibration. If your camera uses a different mount type or sensor size, this is not the correct part.

The lens zooms continuously from 5 mm to 50 mm, so you can dial in any focal length between those two extremes without swapping lenses.
At f/1.3 the lens gathers the maximum light the optic allows, giving brighter low-light images on a 1/3″ format camera.
The CS mount fits only CS-mount camera bodies and locks with setscrews, so it cannot be used on C-mount or other mount types.
