Purpose-built outdoor surveillance

The Eyemax TIR-1262VSL-W is a 1080P bullet camera designed for permanent exterior installation. Its IP66-rated housing protects the 1/2.8-inch Sony CMOS sensor from dust and heavy rain. The unit ships as a single camera kit ready for connection to an existing HD-TVI recorder.

Varifocal 2.8-12mm lens sets the field of view

A motorised varifocal lens lets installers adjust the focal length between 2.8mm and 12mm after the camera is mounted, matching the viewing angle to the scene without swapping hardware. This single specification decides whether the camera can cover a wide driveway or a narrow entrance.

Requires 12V DC supply and BNC cabling

The camera draws power from a 12V DC source and transmits video over a BNC coaxial link, so a compatible power supply and cable run must be in place. Four white array LEDs provide 50-60m infrared illumination, freeing the installer from adding separate lighting for night-time recording.

Questions about this item

What does the 1080P resolution deliver on a live HD-TVI feed?

The 1080P sensor produces a 2-megapixel image that the HD-TVI output carries at full resolution to a compatible DVR.

Which video formats does the 4-in-1 BNC interface support and what limits apply?

The BNC port outputs HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and 960H CVBS; the recorder must match the chosen format.

The weather-proof IP66 body fits standard wall or soffit brackets and the 2.8-12mm lens adjusts focus after mounting.
