Varifocal CS-mount lens for 1/3" sensors covering 3.5-10.5mm with f1.0 aperture and IR-corrected optics for day/night CCTV cameras
The Computar Ganz TG3Z3510FCS-IR is a varifocal CCTV lens built for CS-mount cameras using 1/3" format sensors. It provides a 3.5-10.5mm focal range with a fast f1.0 maximum aperture for low-light surveillance. IR correction eliminates focus shift when the camera switches to night mode under infrared illumination. The all-glass optics and metal barrel suit permanent security installations.
The lens mounts directly to any CS-mount camera body and uses a DC auto iris connector for automatic exposure control. Manual zoom and focus rings feature locking set screws to secure the chosen field of view against vibration. Focus travels from 0.3 m to infinity, allowing close-up detail or wide coverage. Installers must verify the camera uses CS-mount rather than C-mount to avoid flange-distance errors.
The optical design covers only 1/3" sensors; larger formats will vignette and smaller formats narrow the field of view. The 3.5-10.5mm range cannot be extended, so scenes requiring wider angles or longer reach need a different lens. Aperture stops down to 360C for bright conditions but the iris is DC-driven, requiring compatible camera circuitry. No motorised zoom or remote focus is provided.

Check that objects at 0.3 m and at infinity both appear sharp when you adjust the manual focus ring.
The lens ships with locking set screws; you must supply a compatible CS-mount camera with a 1/3" sensor.
Use 3.5 mm for a wide view and 10.5 mm for a narrow view; the varifocal range lets you dial any setting between them.
