  • 4 lux B/W sensitivity captures usable night footage
  • Auto-sensing 12 V DC / 24 V AC simplifies power wiring
  • Switchable Day/Night mode adapts to changing light
  • Highlight slicing backlight compensation preserves detail in bright areas

Purpose-built 24-hour surveillance camera

The Computar Ganz YCH-04 is a 1/3” digital day/night box camera delivering 540 TVL colour images by day and high-sensitivity black-and-white footage by night. It suits installers who need a single unit for continuous indoor or sheltered outdoor monitoring without swapping hardware at dusk.

Check voltage and lens mount before ordering

The camera accepts 12 V DC or 24 V AC through auto-sensing dual-voltage input with line phase adjustment. It mounts any Computar lens, day/night series not required, so verify the focal length and iris type your site demands. No housing is included unless the separate Pro-Pak kit is sourced.

Sustained low-light operation with highlight control

At night the imager reaches 0.4 lux sensitivity at F1.2/30 IRE, maintaining detail over long recording periods rather than brief snapshots. Advanced backlight compensation with highlight slicing prevents blown-out bright zones during extended exposure to headlights or street lamps. The day/night switch can be toggled off for fixed-colour applications.

Questions about this item

Does the YCH-04 come with a lens or do I need to buy one separately?

The camera body is sold alone; a compatible computar® lens must be purchased separately, though an outdoor Pro-Pak kit with pre-installed Day/Night lenses is also available.

Should I choose the 12 V DC or 24 V AC power input for my installation?

The unit auto-senses either 12 V DC or 24 V AC and adjusts line phase automatically, so you can use whichever supply your cabling already provides.

What does the 540 TVL rating actually give me on a monitor?

It delivers 540 TV lines of horizontal color resolution by day and switches to high-sensitivity B/W at 0.4 lux (F1.2/30 IRE) for identifiable night images.
