SKU CH-0MHT-RBV3B

VGA IP camera with H.264 dual streaming, true day/night function, and triple power options including PoE

  • VGA resolution suited for standard surveillance needs
  • H.264 dual streaming manages bandwidth and storage efficiently
  • True day/night function captures clear images in low light
  • Triple power input options simplify installation flexibility
  • ONVIF compliance ensures broad NVR and software compatibility

Purpose and fit

The Computar Ganz ZN-C1 is a VGA-resolution IP network camera built for professional surveillance installations. It suits integrators who need a compact CS-mount body with true day/night switching and flexible power options. The camera is not suited for buyers who want megapixel detail or built-in infrared illumination without an add-on lens.

Thermals noise and power

Triple power input accepts 12 V DC, 24 V AC or PoE so installers can match existing infrastructure without extra injectors. The 1/2.5” progressive scan CMOS sensor runs cool in typical indoor or sheltered outdoor use. No moving parts mean silent operation and low maintenance.

Deciding specification

Dual-stream H.264 encoding at VGA resolution is the single spec that determines fit; systems needing 720p or 1080p streams must choose the higher-resolution variants instead.

Questions about this item

How do I mount a CS-mount lens on the ZN-C1 and what step is often missed?

Screw the CS-mount lens directly onto the camera's CS mount thread. The step often missed is setting the DC auto-iris output to match the lens type for correct exposure control.

What maintenance will the microSDHC card slot need over time?

The microSDHC card should be checked periodically for write errors and reformatted or replaced if recording integrity drops, as continuous overwriting wears the memory cells.

At what resolution does the VGA sensor limit sustained recording quality?

The 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS sensor caps sustained recording at VGA resolution, so detail cannot exceed that regardless of stream settings or storage speed.
