8 MP Turret Network Camera

The Gyration CYBERVIEW 810T is an 8 MP turret network camera built for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It captures 4K resolution video using a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor and offers Starlight technology with 120 dB wide dynamic range. The IP67-rated housing resists water and dust. A built-in microphone records audio alongside video.

PoE switch and NVR compatibility

Verify that your network video recorder or VMS supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264 or MJPEG streams before ordering. Ensure a PoE switch or injector can deliver power over the single Ethernet cable run. Confirm the recorder has spare channels and enough storage bandwidth for the selected resolution and frame rate. A micro SD card up to 256 GB can be used for local backup if required.

Upgrade from lower-resolution fixed cameras

Replaces 2 MP or 4 MP fixed-lens cameras when finer detail is needed for identification or forensic review. The jump is worth it if you require 8 MP at 20 fps or 5 MP at 30 fps for wider coverage without adding extra cameras. It is not suited for buyers who need motorised zoom, pan-tilt movement or multi-sensor panoramic views.

Questions about this item

Does the Gyration CYBERVIEW 810T include a microSD card or must I buy one separately?

The camera has a slot that supports up to a 256 GB microSD card; the card itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which resolution and frame-rate combination should I select for the smoothest 4K recording?

At the full 8 MP (3840 × 2160) resolution the camera records at 20 fps; dropping to 5 MP (3072 × 1728) raises the rate to 30/25 fps for smoother motion.

What does the 120 dB wide dynamic range mean for footage captured by this 8 MP turret camera?

The 120 dB WDR lets the 1/2.7" CMOS sensor balance very bright and very dark areas in the same scene, preserving detail in high-contrast outdoor lighting.
