Splits one DisplayPort 1.4 source to one DisplayPort and one HDMI display, supporting 8K at 30 Hz or 4K up to 144 Hz on a single output
This Corn Electronics DisplayPort 1.4 splitter takes one DisplayPort input and drives one HDMI display and one DisplayPort display simultaneously. It supports MST and SST modes for extended or mirrored desktops across two screens. The unit is aimed at home, office or hotel installations that need dual ultra-high-definition outputs from a single source.
Your source device, cables and both displays must each support the target resolution and refresh rate. The splitter requires external power via the included USB cable. It is not compatible with docking stations or secondary conversion adapters. Apple systems can only extend one screen in MST mode due to OS limitations.
When both outputs are active, each port is limited to 4K at 60 Hz. A single HDMI port can reach 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 30 Hz, while a single DisplayPort port can reach 4K at 144 Hz or 8K at 30 Hz. Thunderbolt 3 inputs restrict both outputs to 4K maximum.

The splitter ships without cables. You will need to buy a DisplayPort cable for the DP output and an HDMI cable for the HDMI output separately.
Choose 8K at 30 Hz for high-resolution work on a single display. Choose 4K at 144 Hz on the DisplayPort output for high-refresh gaming or motion clarity. Both require using only one output at a time.
When both the DisplayPort and HDMI outputs are active together, each is limited to 4K at 60 Hz. The higher 8K 30 Hz and 4K 144 Hz figures are only reachable with a single display connected.
