Two small USB-C male-to-male adapters in matte finish

Corn Electronics

Corn Electronics USB C Male to Male Adapter 2 Pack 40Gbps 100W 8K@60Hz

SKU CH-RK1J-CX7FK

Two USB-C male-to-male adapters support 40 Gbps data, 100 W charging and 8K video at 60 Hz

Model Male to Male

  • 40 Gbps data transfer meets USB 4 standard
  • 100 W power delivery charges devices rapidly
  • 8K video output at 60 Hz supported
  • Two adapters included for flexible setups
  • Works with Thunderbolt 4 and 3 devices

Dual USB-C coupler for high-speed peripherals

This two-pack provides male-to-male USB-C adapters that link a Type-C peripheral directly to a host port. Each unit supports the USB 4 standard for up to 40Gbps data transfer, 100W power delivery at 20V/5A, and 8K video at 60Hz. They suit users who need a compact gender changer for full-feature USB-C cables or devices.

Verify host and cable support before use

Confirm that both the host port and the attached cable are rated for USB 4 or Thunderbolt 40Gbps operation to reach the stated speeds. The adapter delivers up to 100W only when the power source, cable, and device all negotiate 20V/5A PD. Video output requires the host to support DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C.

Maintains rated throughput during extended transfers

The adapter contains no active circuitry, so sustained 40Gbps bandwidth is limited by the cable and controller thermal limits rather than the coupler itself. Continuous 100W charging passes through without added heat from the adapter body. Performance remains consistent as long as connected components maintain their negotiated link rates.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include any cables or chargers, or do I need to supply my own USB-C cables and power adapter?

The package contains two USB-C male-to-male adapters only. You must provide your own USB-C cables and a compatible power adapter to achieve the rated performance.

Should I choose these adapters for a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 setup or will a lower-spec version work just as well?

These adapters are rated for up to 40 Gbps and Thunderbolt 4/3 compatibility. If your host, cable and peripheral all support that speed, the adapter will not bottleneck the link.

When the box says 100 W and 8K at 60 Hz, what do I actually need on my laptop and monitor to hit those numbers?

You need a host and monitor that both support USB Power Delivery up to 100 W and DisplayPort Alt Mode with enough bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz, plus cables rated for the same power and video throughput.
