USB A to B MIDI adapter

This pair of grey adapters converts a USB A male port into a USB B female socket so laptops can connect electronic pianos, keyboards, printers or scanners that use MIDI-style connectors. Two pieces are included for spare or multi-device setups.

Thermals noise and power draw

The aluminium alloy housing dissipates the small heat load from 2 A charging current without a fan, so operation stays silent. Rated for 480 Mbps data throughput and 2 A fast charging, the adapter draws only what the attached device requests.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the USB A male end to my laptop and the USB B female end to my MIDI keyboard?

Insert the USB A male plug into the laptop port and the USB B female plug into the keyboard; the adapter handles the conversion directly with no driver install needed.

Will the aluminum alloy housing or connectors wear out after repeated plugging and unplugging?

The aluminum alloy housing is designed for good plug resistance and stability to ensure a longer service life under normal use.

What happens if I try to power a device that draws more than 2 amps through this adapter?

The adapter supports a maximum of 2 amps for fast charging; exceeding that limit may cause instability or shutdown under sustained load.
