Provides battery backup and surge protection for desktop computers with 685 VA capacity and eight outlets
The CyberPower CP685AVRG is a line-interactive battery backup rated at 685 VA and 390 W with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets and a NEMA 5-15P input plug. It targets home-office users and small-business workstations that need surge protection plus enough runtime for an orderly shutdown during a blackout.
The unit delivers a simulated sine wave and uses Automatic Voltage Regulation to correct input voltages between 90 V and 140 V without draining the battery. This topology keeps connected PCs, networking devices and home entertainment systems running through brownouts and brief outages.
CyberPower designed the UPS to minimise noise and reduce energy consumption in normal use. Alarms signal on-battery, low-battery and overload conditions while PowerPanel Personal software monitors status via USB or serial ports. The sealed lead-acid battery recharges in eight hours and is user-replaceable with part RB1270B.
Measured against everything we stock in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
