Short Reach for Tight Spaces

The CyberPower GC201 is a 0.5 ft power extension cord that adds two NEMA 5-15R outlets from a single wall receptacle. It suits desktop users, home-office setups or bench testing where a bulky transformer blocks the adjacent socket. The short length keeps cable clutter to a minimum behind furniture or equipment racks.

Straight Plug with Impact-Resistant Casing

A straight NEMA 5-15P plug sits flush against the wall, while the black housing absorbs knocks in busy environments. Two female outlets accept standard North American plugs, including transformer-spaced adapters that would otherwise overlap. The female-to-male gender arrangement provides simple pass-through power without an extra power strip.

Rated for 13 A Continuous Duty

The cord carries a 125 V, 13 A, 60 Hz rating for up to 1625 W continuous load. It is not suited for high-draw appliances such as space heaters, large laser printers or kitchen equipment that exceed this limit. The 6-inch length also prevents use where the wall outlet is farther from the devices than half a foot.

Questions about this item

What does the NEMA 5-15P plug and 125 V 13 A rating mean for the maximum load I can draw?

The cord is rated for 125 V at 13 A, giving a continuous limit of 1625 W; do not exceed that total across both outlets.

Will the 0.5 ft length and straight NEMA 5-15P plug fit behind my desk or inside a tight power strip?

At six inches long with a straight plug, it adds minimal depth and sits flush against the wall or strip, leaving the two NEMA 5-15R outlets accessible for transformer blocks.

How do I connect the GC201 so the pass-through power works correctly?

Insert the male NEMA 5-15P plug into the wall or strip, then plug your devices into the two female NEMA 5-15R outlets; the cord simply extends the existing circuit.
