White sleeved SATA 3.0 cable with mixed connectors

This 45 cm SATA 3.0 data cable links a straight 180 degree port to a right-angle 90 degree port, both fitted with locking latches. The white sleeving is intended for visible cable runs in modded systems. It is supplied new from Darkside Computer Modding.

Builders who need a short.

The 180 degree to 90 degree layout solves clearance problems where a straight plug would hit a side panel or neighbouring component. It is not suited for runs that exceed 45 cm, for external eSATA ports, or for builders who require a straight-through 180 degree to 180 degree cable.

Connector orientation: one straight.

The defining specification is the mixed 180 degree and 90 degree connector pair, which decides whether the cable fits the specific motherboard and drive geometry in your build.

Questions about this item

Which length should I choose between the 12 and 18 inch versions?

The 18 inch (45 cm) cable suits most full-tower builds, while the 12 inch version keeps routing tidy in compact cases.

What does the SATA 3.0 rating deliver in an actual system?

It supports the 6 Gb/s SATA interface, so a modern SSD or HDD will run at its full native transfer speed.

How does the 180° to 90° connector affect installation?

One end plugs straight in while the other angles 90°, letting you route the cable flat against the motherboard or drive cage.
