Cable sleeving for tidy builds

This 1ft length of high-density sleeving wraps cables up to 11mm in diameter. The 6mm (0.24in) weave conceals standard power wires for a cleaner look. It is sold by the foot and custom cut to order. Builders who want a uniform red finish will find it straightforward to use.

Capacity and headroom

The sleeve stretches to cover bundles roughly 11mm across, which suits typical PSU leads. Thicker loom or large connector heads will not pass through the weave. One foot covers a short run; longer harnesses need multiple feet. Buyers who want to sleeve an entire harness should measure total length first.

Practical limits of the material

The tight polyester weave resists fraying but cannot be heat-shrunk for termination. Cut ends must be melted or taped to prevent unravelling. The opaque red colour blocks light, so it does not suit builds that rely on illuminated cables. It is not adhesive-backed and requires manual threading.

Questions about this item

Will the 6 mm sleeving slide over my existing SATA power connectors without removing them?

The 6 mm diameter expands to roughly 11 mm so it fits over most SATA power plugs without disassembly.

How can I confirm the sleeving is seated correctly once installed?

The opaque red weave should run continuously with no gaps showing the original black, red or yellow wires beneath.

Does the 1 ft length arrive pre-cut or do I need to trim it myself?

It is custom cut to order at 1 ft so no further trimming is required.
