Hand truck nose plate extension 200 lb capacity

The Dayton 6W851 nose plate extension fits onto an existing hand truck to widen the load surface. It is built from steel with a beveled profile and an open straight plate type. The extension adds a 12 in wide by 27 in deep platform rated for 200 lb capacity.

Suits owners of compatible hand trucks needing

This part is for users who already have a hand truck that accepts a bolt-on nose extension and want a broader steel deck. It is not for buyers who need a complete hand truck or a different mounting style. It is also not for loads exceeding the 200 lb rating or for trucks that cannot accommodate the 11 in overall width.

Steel beveled plate with 12 in load width

The single specification that decides fit is the 12 in nose plate width combined with the 200 lb load capacity and beveled steel construction. Match these figures to your hand truck’s mounting pattern and weight requirement before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much power or heat does the 6W851 steel nose plate generate when a 200 lb load rests on it all day?

The 6W851 steel nose plate has no motor or electronics, so it produces no heat and draws no power while supporting a 200 lb load.

What existing hand truck does the 12 in wide beveled nose plate bolt onto for it to work?

The 12 in wide beveled steel nose plate mounts to a compatible hand truck that accepts a 12 in open straight nose plate with 27 in depth.

Will the 11 in overall width of the 6W851 extension clear the frame of an older hand truck I already own?

The extension measures 11 in overall width and 27 in overall depth; it will clear an older hand truck frame if that frame accepts those dimensions.
