  • 6 mil thickness resists tears and punctures
  • Withstands 158°F for high-temperature applications

Industrial strapping tape for heavy bundling

This case contains 72 rolls of 1/2-inch by 60-yard yellow MOPP strapping tape built for demanding closing, holding and securing tasks. The natural rubber adhesive delivers 37 oz/in adhesion and removes cleanly without residue. Each roll provides 200 lbs/in tensile strength with 30% elongation for reliable load containment.

Replaces lower-grade filament or polypropylene tapes

Upgrade when standard carton-sealing tape fails under tension or temperature stress. The 6 mil thickness and 200 lbs/in tensile rating handle appliance assembly, coil tabbing and metal strapping jobs that tear lesser tapes. The 158°F temperature resistance suits environments where heat softens ordinary adhesives.

Verify dispenser compatibility and surface needs

Confirm your dispenser accepts 1/2-inch core width before ordering. The high-tack natural rubber bonds aggressively to steel, aluminium and coated metals but may not suit delicate finishes or low-surface-energy plastics. Moisture and chemical resistance suits damp or oily conditions, yet test adhesion on critical substrates first.

Questions about this item

What dispenser width fits the 1/2" tape rolls in this case?

The rolls are 1/2 inch wide, so a standard half-inch strapping-tape dispenser will accept them.

How do I apply the tape so the natural rubber adhesive bonds properly?

Clean the surface, then press the tape firmly along its full length to activate the 37 oz/in adhesion.

When should I replace a roll that has been stored near the 158°F limit?

If the tape has been kept at or above 158°F, inspect the adhesive for softening or reduced tack before use.
