Black tensilized polypropylene tape with 145 lbs/in tensile strength, 4.3 mil thickness and acrylic adhesive for UV-resistant outdoor strapping and bundling
This black tensilized polypropylene tape is designed for outdoor strapping, light-duty palletizing, bundling and edge reinforcement. It uses an acrylic adhesive that resists stains and moisture across a 30 to 180 degree Fahrenheit range. The 4.3 mil thickness provides 145 lbs per inch tensile strength and 35 oz per inch adhesion. It suits operations needing UV-resistant holding power.
The case contains 36 rolls, each 2 inches wide by 60 yards long, supplying a continuous length for high-throughput packing stations. Buying in this quantity reduces roll-change frequency on manual or semi-automatic dispensers. Buyers who need only occasional lengths or a different width will find the case excessive.
The tape applies with standard hand-held or bench-top dispensers that accept a 2-inch core. The aggressive acrylic adhesive bonds quickly to corrugated, plastic and painted surfaces without surface preparation. Cold temperatures near 30 degrees Fahrenheit can slow initial tack, so allow the roll to acclimatise before use in unheated areas.

The acrylic adhesive is a permanent single-coat layer; the roll is replaced once the 60-yard length is used, not because the adhesive itself wears out.
The 180 °F upper temperature limit is reached before adhesion drops; above that point the acrylic bond can soften and fail.
The tape itself produces no heat; it simply withstands ambient temperatures up to 180 °F without degrading.
