  • Withstands 325 °F for 30 minutes clean removal
  • Rubber adhesive delivers 28 oz/in hold on metal
  • 26 lbs/in tensile strength resists tearing during use
  • 3 mil thickness balances conformability and durability
  • 10 % elongation allows stretching around curves

Industrial Masking Tape

This case contains 72 rolls of 1/2 inch by 60 yard hi-temp masking tape built for automotive and marine painting. The rubber adhesive formulation delivers 28 oz/in adhesion and 26 lbs/in tensile strength across a 7.3 mil thickness. It is suited for professional shops handling metal part masking and finishing jobs.

Temperature Limits

The tape operates from 32 to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and offers clean removal after 30 minutes at the upper limit. Elongation sits at 10 percent, which restricts stretch during complex curves. Buyers needing continuous exposure above 325 degrees or longer dwell times at peak temperature should look elsewhere.

Upgrade From Standard Grade

This product replaces general-purpose masking tapes that fail under bake-cycle heat or leave residue on metal. The jump is worth it when clean lines and residue-free release after high-temp cycles are required. It is not for users who only need room-temperature masking for light-duty tasks.
