Professional-grade flatback tape

Decker Tape Products supplies this blue printable rope flatback tape in a case of 24 rolls, each measuring two inches wide by sixty yards long. The rubber adhesive formulation provides reliable bonding across packaging, labelling and light bundling tasks in commercial and creative environments.

Critical adhesion and tensile ratings

The tape delivers thirty ounces per inch of adhesion and thirty pounds per inch of tensile strength at a six mil thickness. These combined figures determine whether the roll will hold sealed cartons, spliced flooring or coffee bags without flagging or snapping during handling.

Sustained temperature performance

Rated for continuous exposure from thirty-two to one hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit, the rubber adhesive maintains its grip through cold storage and warm shipping conditions alike. The four-point-four percent elongation absorbs movement stress so seals stay intact over long transit or shelf periods.

Questions about this item

How does 30 lbs/in tensile strength hold up when the tape is pulled tight on a bundle?

The 30 lbs/in tensile strength means each inch of tape width can resist 30 pounds of pulling force before breaking, so a 2-inch strip handles roughly 60 pounds of tension.

What does the rubber adhesive on this flatback tape actually stick to in practice?

The rubber adhesive provides 30 oz/in adhesion and bonds well to paper, cardboard, plastic bags, coffee packaging and similar surfaces across the 32 to 150 °F temperature range.

Will a standard 2-inch tape dispenser accommodate these 60-yard rolls?

Each roll is 2 inches wide with a 60-yard length on a standard core, so it fits common hand-held and desktop dispensers designed for 2-inch tape.
