What the tape does

Gray 45 mil double-sided acrylic foam tape supplies a pressure-sensitive bond on both faces. The 1 inch by 36 yard roll eliminates drilling, welding and clean-up while keeping surfaces smooth.

Who it suits and who it does not

Fabricators assembling trailers, RVs, boats, elevators or automotive panels gain immediate handling strength. Buyers who need a thinner profile, a different adhesive chemistry or a multi-roll pack should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation is needed before applying the 45 mil acrylic foam tape?

Clean both surfaces so they are dry and free of dust or oil; the pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds on contact and reaches very high final tack without primers.

Can the gray 45 mil tape replace mechanical fasteners on an older aluminium trailer frame?

Yes, it eliminates drilling, grinding, screwing and welding while keeping the joint virtually invisible on the existing frame.

How can I verify the tape is holding at full strength after installation?

The bond provides immediate handling strength on contact and builds to very high final tack, so the joint should resist peel and shear loads without movement.
