Sentinel Pro Turret 4K 16CH NVR

This Defender surveillance kit bundles a 16-channel network video recorder with sixteen IP cameras and a pre-installed 12TB hard drive. It is designed for homeowners or small-business operators who want a complete, wired PoE system that records every camera simultaneously without configuring separate power supplies. The package arrives new and ready for immediate deployment.

IP66 metal turrets with single-cable PoE

Each camera is housed in a compact aluminium turret rated IP66 for outdoor exposure, so rain and dust do not interrupt recording. Power, video and audio travel over one Ethernet cable per camera, reducing cable runs and eliminating the need for local power outlets at every mounting point. The NVR offers HDMI and VGA outputs for local monitoring and a USB port for footage backup.

AI human detection with colour night vision

On-board analytics distinguish human movement from background motion, triggering blue-red deterrent lights and instant alerts through the Defender Empower app only. Low-light enhancement provides full-colour visibility up to 100ft after dark, while the built-in microphone captures synchronised audio. The system records at 25FPS in H.265 or H.264 and supports ONVIF for third-party integration, replacing older 1080P kits that lack intelligent filtering.

Questions about this item

Does the 16-channel NVR use PoE on every RJ-45 port to power the cameras?

Yes, the NVR provides Power over Ethernet on all 16 RJ-45 inputs so each camera receives power, video and audio through a single cable.

What mounting clearance do the IP66 metal turret cameras need?

The compact aluminium turrets are IP66 rated for outdoor use and fit in tight spaces; allow enough room for the RJ-45 connector and cable bend radius at the camera base.

Which app must I use for remote viewing and setup?

The system works only with the Defender Empower app — it cannot be paired with any other Defender application.
