Business-ready 14.0" laptop

This refurbished Dell Latitude 7490 targets professionals who need a compact Windows 10 Pro machine for office applications, web browsing and video calls. The Intel Core i5-8350U processor running at 1.70 GHz and 8 GB of DDR4 memory handle everyday multitasking without excess bulk. A 256 GB solid-state drive provides responsive boot and load times for documents and light media.

Build integration: ports, power, expansion

The chassis supplies three USB ports and an audio jack for peripherals such as a mouse, external drive or headset. Integrated 802.11ac wireless LAN connects to modern office networks without extra hardware. Memory can be expanded up to 32 GB through the SODIMM slots, while the 256 GB SSD can be swapped for a larger drive if local storage needs grow. The lithium-ion battery and included AC adapter keep the system running away from a desk.

Bundled accessories and software impact

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit arrives pre-installed and activated, delivering business features such as BitLocker and remote desktop out of the box. A 720p webcam supports conference calls without a separate camera purchase. Bluetooth is not included, so wireless headsets or mice require a USB dongle. The 90-day warranty covers hardware defects discovered during initial deployment.
